Frank J. Hevrdejs, Partner

Co-founder of Sterling in 1982, Frank has worked in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and accounting for over 30 years. He is involved in all aspects of the firm including deal sourcing, investment due diligence, and the monitoring and advising of portfolio companies. Frank currently serves on the board of CST Industries. He has served on the boards of numerous portfolio companies over the years including HydroChem, Mail-Well, and Purina Mills. Throughout Sterling's history, Frank has led many of the firm's successful investments.
Prior to the founding of Sterling, Frank was a Senior Vice President at the mergers and acquisitions firm McLaughlin Associates. In the 1970s he was an executive at Baker International Corporation (now Baker Hughes) and with Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He earned his B.S. in accounting from California State University.
Frank will serve as an Advisory Partner in Fund III.
