William C. "Billy" Oehmig, Partner

Billy joined Sterling in 1984. Previously, he worked in banking, mergers and acquisitions, and represented foreign investors in purchasing and managing U.S. companies in the oilfield service, manufacturing, distribution, heavy equipment, and real estate sectors. He began his career in Houston in 1974 at Texas Commerce Bank.

He currently serves on the boards of Panolam, Propex and North American Energy Partners. Billy has served as Chairman of Royster-Clark and Purina Mills, and as a director of AXIA and Sterling Diagnostic Imaging. Billy received his B.B.A. in economics from Transylvania University and his M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
